Hard Times Grant Assistance For Job Seekers Workshops

Starting January 2010 the first in a series of six session workshops will be held and will repeat several times in the coming months. 

Workshops are scheduled at the meeting room, Mountain View Center, 1925 Blaine Street, Suite 100, Port Townsend, WA from 10:00a.m. – 12:00p.m. and are open to all job seekers.

  • February 8, 2010      Session 5       Marketing & Interviewing Part 2

  • February 9, 2010      Session 6       The 4 R’s

Workshop sessions will explore psychological aspects of job loss, finding a job in tough times, and how to make a transition back to work or into self-employment.   

Job seekers can attend weekly Hard Times Transition Discussion Group Meetings to network, share ideas and receive and give support.  Job seekers will begin making new connections and taking actions that move toward employment.  Starting January 29, 2010 Discussion Groups meet at 10:00a.m. Friday mornings at the Pink House, next to the Port Townsend Public Library.
