Parks and Recreation

The mission of the City of Port Townsend Parks & Recreation Division is to preserve and enhance natural resources and open space for future generations, to develop and maintain quality park spaces and recreation facilities and to provide diverse recreation and leisure programs.

Adopt A Park: Some of our parks have been adopted by groups of volunteers. If you would be interested in adopting a park in your neighborhood, contact AWisniewski@cityofpt.us for more information. An application for Adopt a Park can be downloaded here.

Volunteer: Copies of the volunteer handbook and volunteer application can be downloaded. For information about volunteer opportunities to improve and maintain our parks and pool, email AWisniewski@cityofpt.us .
