Description of Work |
|
This project will improve traffic
flow and access to properties with two roundabouts and
landscaped medians. Pedestrian facilities
will be improved with new sidewalks on both
sides of the street and pedestrian crossings. Bike lanes
will be provided as well as a connection to the
trail networks to the north and south. Storm
water will be treated and detained with ecology
embankments and two storm water detention and
treatment ponds. |

Funding |
|
The
City has been awarded an additional $1.6 million
in Federal "Stimulus" funds which makes the
project fully funded.

HOWARD ST. TO BE CLOSED STARTING MARCH 8TH
FROM SIMS WAY TO REMAX BUILDING DRIVEWAY.
CLOSURE WILL BE FOR 2 - 4 WEEKS. BUSINESS
PARK ACCESS TO BE VIA CLIFF ST.

Removing of asphalt on Howard St.

Constructing roadway on the North side of
Howard St.
-
Continuing to install sidewalks and curb on
North & South sides of Sims Way.

PSE continuing to install light poles.
