Project Name: Historic District – Madison Street
Streetscape
Project Description:
The Madison Street Streetscape Project is part of an
overall plan to revitalize the historic district’s urban
character and encourage economic growth in the downtown
area. The project will be bid as a base bid with four (4)
alternates. Work for the base bid includes, but is not
limited to the following approximate quantities: 540 LF of
storm drain, 150 LF of trench drain, 700 SY of cement
concretesidewalk, 775 LF of curb, 630 LF of concrete curb
and gutter, 2634 LF of concrete curb band edge, 300 tons of
asphalt pavement, and 13,000 SF of brick paving Work for the
base bid also includes the installation and maintenance of
Temporary Erosion and Sediment Controls (TESC) plus dust
control; Traffic Control plans and implementation;
demolition; debris removal; excavation; dewatering; shoring
and safety fence; surface adjustment of existing utility
frames, lids, grates and boxes; road grading; fine grading;
temporary public access and public relations; grade
restoration and stabilization of all disturbed areas;
permanent signage; pavement markings and wheel stops; and
installation of rain gardens with extensive landscaping.

accepting bids for:
11,000 pounds of activated odor carbon for
the Wastewater Treatment Facility
Project Description: This project includes: the
work necessary to furnish and deliver to the City of Port
Townsend Wastewater Treatment Facility 11,000 pounds of
activated carbon. The supplied material shall be new, unused
material that is manufacture’s latest design and production.

production, fully functional, and includes all components
