Request for Qualifications for Financial Services

The City of Port Townsend is seeking a firm or individual to assist in financial services and provide quarter reporting on the City’s financial condition using cash basis accounting in accordance with GOFA guidelines for small communities, and provide quarterly financial reports to the City Manager and City Council. Candidates must be familiar with Springbrook software systems, BARS, general government practices and governmental accounting principles.
 
Please submit three (3) copies of your Statement of Qualifications. There is no page limit or standard format.  SOQs are to be submitted in an envelope clearly marked “Statement of Qualification Financial Services” and received no later than Friday, May 17, 2013 by 5:00 pm Pacific Standard Time. Proposals may not be faxed or e-mailed but may be sent by   U S mail, courier or hand delivered to:

Description:
In general, the UV System Procurement consists of:
1. The supply of Goods consisting of low-pressure, high-output UV systems and their associated
components, and
2. The supply of Special Services consisting of assistance to the City’s Engineer in incorporating the
Goods into the Water Treatment Facility design, assistance to the Contractor in installing the UV
System, and assistance to the City, Engineer, and Contractor in commissioning the UV system.
