name, address, phone number, parents work address/phone
number, or the name and location of your school without
your parents' permission.
Do not use your real name, if a site asks for a user
name, make up a name.
Keep your user name and password simple, easy to
remember for future use.
Check with your parents before giving out any
information about yourself.
If a web site makes you feel uncomfortable, talk to
your parents about it, or show a Librarian.
If you are designing your own site, do not include
where you live or your phone number.
Talk to your parents to set up rules for going
online.
Do not get together with someone you "meet" online
without your parents.
Do not send anyone your picture or anything else
without first checking with your parents.
