Council Member Aislinn Palmer

Aislinn Palmer moved to the Olympic Peninsula in 2016 to work on the launch of Bayside Housing & Services at the Old Alcohol Plant. She left that organization in 2019 and continued to be active in housing advocacy and policy, volunteering for the Housing Solutions Network and serving on the Port Townsend Planning Commission 2018-2021 (Chair 2020-2021). She has a background in nonprofit management and community organizing and is currently part of the transition team at Fort Worden. Outside of work, she serves on the boards of Habitat for Humanity of East Jefferson County and the Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce and is a past board member of the Northwest School of Wooden Boatbuilding and Planning Committee Member of the Hadlock Block Party. Aislinn lives in Port Townsend with her husband, Trent, and two roommates, as homesharing is one way individuals can make a difference in combating the housing affordability crisis.
